Investors be like, ohh so many empty offices! Things must be going well!

"While AI is creating some pressure on companies to innovate and restructure, he believes they are mostly using AI as a cover for layoffs, a phenomenon called “AI washing,” which allows companies to spin what would usually be negative news into a positive feat that shows they are innovating."

What if governments regulate the operations of so-called "tech" compaines. What if blanket liabillity protections for so-called "tech" companies fail. What if interest rates return to non-zero. What if computer users reduce their screen time. What if non-interactive computing replaces interactive computer use. What if the "Silicon Valley playbook" approach to shareholders backfires

As their surveillance and advertising "business model" begins to unravel, and the bullshit jobs (disposable jobs) are eliminated to cut costs, the so-called "tech" companies and their followers are attempting to portray this as something other than failure

Silicon Valley is notoriously dishonest

Generally, bullshit jobs outside Silicon Valley are probably safe

But "jobs" in "industries" that are based on a bullshit "business model" are disappearing. It's not a prediction, it's a fact, it's already happening. Not because the jobs are bullshit but because the purported "business model" is bullshit
